Rebecca is a very talented Photographer www.rebeccasandulak.com but this wonderful entrepreneurs has also launched and eco-friendly animal clothing line called www.blackbaronkingdom.com which uses used and retro garments to create a beautiful new product!!! Rebecca will be showcasing the line on the Martha Stewart show THIS WEDNESDAY at 10 a.m. ET/9 a.m. on Hallmark Channel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The snow keeps falling, its wonderful fluffy self descending from the clouds. I move for the door, boots tied tight, gloves on, ready for the sting of the Winnipeg winter. Walking down the snow covered streets observing the kind gestures of humans helping one another. The snow keeps falling as I watch it sparkle and dance on its path towards earth. Coffee is what I seek. The old frame creeks as I swing the door open, the heat targets my uncovered skin and is absorbed. I wait behind others for the liquids which will heat our insides. Winter is upon us and it is beautiful, take joy in the presence of a new season.

Fresh New Set

I was up late lastnight making masks for d'maskerade happening this saturday, crawled into bed and realized I had to go out and move my car....arghhhh it was frustrating to get out of bed and put on cloths...however when i went outside it was a very beautiful scene, the snow was falling ever so gently and the light illuminating off the street lamps made for a picturesque moment in time. Not a soul was stirring, it was just the snow, light and myself to enjoy it :)

SNOW and Update

Well it seems the snow has come...ALL AT ONCE!!!! geezzzz from nothing to a foot in a couple days...wowwwzaaa

At least its very pretty! I was walking lastnight with my girlfriend down Ellice and we were enjoying the sparkle that comes with the fresh white stuff!!! VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!!

In art news I've started on several new canvases to be displayed at the Friday December 3rd showing at studio 89 Princess st. Also my paintings are hanging up at the Tripwire Media Groups office at studio 404 - 250 Mcdermot Ave, be sure to check them out!

Brock Winter Coat

Winter is here and the wind is cold, but not for Brock, he is now fitted up in a new Lennard Taylor Wool coat lined with my special secret to keep you extra extra warm :)

The collar is extra special with some hand stitched detailing that can only make you feel like an individual

And to give the jacket that extra "POW" when you take off your coat a wonderful print to warm up even the coldest room :)

In other news I was lucky to attend a wonderful loft party last night, the host had an amazing DJ playing old school hip hop, the dance floor was bumping the crowd was magical and peace was all around. Why is it that some people can get together, different generations, genres, looks etc and be happy, yet others seem to fight and battle it out....what is it that makes us angry and fight???? I've never really understood that about humans.

Snow

The snow has been falling, my fingertips become numb, winter has arrived.

Its amazing how fast the temperature has dropped and the ground has become scrunchy crunchy. Beauty is the first fall of snow, white blanketing the ground. I hope everyone enjoys the first hit of white...I know i do...for now :)

I wanted to share this new pair of pants for my friend Leif, I think they came out wonderful :)

Brendan

This pair of 14oz raw indigo turquoise denim is fresh of the machine for my buddy Brendan, he wanted to keep this pair clean and crisp with some prairie grass

He ordered two pairs...this was the second. He went with the 14oz raw heathered grey, beautiful pair and the patchwork fit the style of jean perfectly....he almost didn't get this pair...i wanted to keep them...

Sex and the City 2

I came home from class lastnight to my girlfriend cooking a wonderful pasta dinner for us. After plating it we did our usual routine of eating while watching a film...lastnight was sex and the city 2...I was actually excited to see the fashions that were in the film because well silly me assumed they would be wonderful...i was sorely mistaken. The outfits were TERRIBLE!!! case and point attached below So I understand they were about to ride camels but seriously this is what the stylists came up with?

Then they were at the bar and every outfit looked like a bad 80s reunion!!! Samantha's hideous shoulder pad meets hellraiser was simply shocking!!! Other terrible mentions are Carries bee hive hat on the plane and the ridiculous Dior shirt and elegant gown combo she wore to the market...piss poor

Not only was this movie the worst fashions i think i've seen in a while, it was also a poor attempt at selling the US to Abu Dhabi...

all in all i hope they dont make another sex and the city movie and i think all the stylists involved should be fired...well everyone except the one who put Carrie in that cute white dress at the start!!!

Aint Yo Grandma

The snow gently falls down, wind blows a cool breeze past my ear, I peddle my bycycle. The ever approachment of winter is felt all around, not only in body but spirit too! I continue my peaceful routine of creation for the upcoming "thisaintyourgrandmascraftsale" Friday November 26th at the west end Cultural center from 5-10pm!!!! Paramedic

Meet Paul, hes a bit shy so i left his face out. He is a paramedic in our city and of course is built like a brick house!!! Being built makes finding clothing hard to find, so i made him this minty jacket with a side zipper and jerrad cuffs

This wax coated raw denim will overtime turn a bluish green in areas where it has been wornout, its a truely beautiful thing to see!!!

on a completely different note my girlfriend took her car into a place on pembina hwy and walked home yesterday. She said and I quote, "its funny i felt more scared of the sketchy people in osborne village then in the downtown core." I've also noticed an increase of grimy people walking around the village...whats that all about?

Electricians

I have been busy preparing and promoting for the show on friday while biting my nails because i wasn't sure if the electrical work was going to get done...the guys showed up today. I am relieved!!! I cannot wait to see all your wonderful faces.
